South Australia is the home to many amazing and unique flora and fauna.
Coloured spider orchid - Are usually solitary with a maroon centre but can vary to blood-red and mauve to pink also has dull leaves with a reddish base. These flowers are endangered with approximately 4000-5000 remaining in South Australia.
Southern Hairy Nose Wombat - Is the faunal emblem of South Australia and is protected under the South Australian National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972. It is the smallest of the three wombat species and is unique to South Australia.
